February 2017

New year, new look! - The shop has been reorganised and we are lucky enough to have some new local talent joining us.

Simon Turk has already joined us with his lovely wooden carved creations which include beautiful carved spoons and endearing animals.

Sally Ice has a lovely display of children's clothes in the shop. The fabrics are colourful and there are some lovely prints and a mix of fabrics including cord and pretty vintage style fabrics. The selection includes funky dungarees and pretty dresses.

Paul Drewett has set up with his selection of beautiful pottery, a selection of which can be seen on our facebook page. There are some lovely vases which would look great in any home.

Cathy Sarah Green will be setting up this month with her handmade bags. These are unique bags that are practical and beautiful.  She has an amazing range of materials from retro style to floral and her range includes items for children as well as adults.

Westgate Community Market - Friday December 9th next market!

In collaboration with the Farmers Market and other local traders from around Westgate, we are now taking to the streets of Gloucester once a month in this new market.  Different artists & craftspeople from our shop are participating, giving you a chance to meet them, see more of their ranges, and watch demonstrations of their skills.  Mark December, 9am - 3pm, in your diary for the next Westgate Community Market.

At this Friday's market there will be 10 gazebos displaying work from the artists in the shop. Come along see the artists at work and say hello... and grab a free drink and minced pie before they go. There will be Helen's willow work, Anita's lovely enamel, Anne's beautiful handmade jewellery, Kelly with her amazing illustrations, Loretta with her beautiful porcelain work, Sylvia and her swirly button jewellery, Rohan with his amazing woodwork, Sue with her beautiful felt work and David with his amazing pastel work.
